Part-Time Brass Specialist

As a part of our team, part-time specialists will be responsible for delivering weekly individual and group music instruction during school hours, facilitating group ensemble experiences, and co-ordinating performance opportunities, all with the support of Majenta Music’s Owner & Director and the school's support team. Specialists can look forward to permanent part-time positions following a successful contract.

Majenta Music are looking for a Band Specialist who has:

A passion for working with high school musicians
Enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a team to help grow the school's Instrumental Music Program
A recognised tertiary degree in Music
A current Blue Card or teacher registration

The ideal applicant would also have experience with teaching woodwind, brass, percussion, and conducting Concert Band. Applicants who may specialise in only one particular discipline (Woodwind, Brass or Percussion) are also encouraged to apply.

Casual (Relief) Brass Specialist

Majenta Music are looking for a Brass Specialist who has:

A passion for working with school musicians
Experience with teaching brass (trumpet. trombone & euphonium) in private and small group settings, and taking Concert Band rehearsals
An interest in providing relief teaching at schools in the Moreton Bay area
A current Blue Card or teacher registration

Casual relief tutors are paid an hourly rate + superannuation.

A passion for working with primary school musicians
Experience with teaching private piano lessons
An interest in providing relief teaching at a Lutheran school on the Northside of Brisbane, and is generally available during school time on Mondays and/or Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays and/or Thursdays
A current Blue Card or teacher registration

Casual relief tutors are paid an hourly rate + superannuation.

A passion for working with primary school musicians
An interest in providing relief teaching at a Lutheran school on the Northside of Brisbane, and is generally available during school time on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays and/or Fridays
Experience with teaching upper and/or lower strings, taking String Ensemble rehearsals, and/or experience with leading string Immersion Programs
A current Blue Card or teacher registration
