Instrumental Music at Living Faith 

Established in 2021, Majenta Music proudly formed a partnership with Living Faith Lutheran Primary School. Together we have developed and implemented a tailor-made Instrumental Music Program that is aligned with the specific needs of the school.

Through our esteemed partnership, students at Living Faith have the valuable opportunity to learn musical instruments through either private or group lessons, taught by the specialised tutors from Majenta Music. We offer a wide range of instruments to explore, including strings, woodwind, brass, percussion and piano. Under the mentorship and guidance of our team, private lesson students also have the opportunity to participate in AMEB Examinations.

In addition to private and group lessons, students learning strings, woodwind, brass, or percussion instruments at Living Faith participate in large ensemble rehearsals. These ensemble experiences foster teamwork, communication, and musical expression, contributing to their holistic musical education. We offer a diverse selection of ensembles, including the Beginner Band, Concert Band, Intermediate Strings, and String Ensemble. These ensembles are expertly conducted by our specialised tutors from Majenta Music.

Together with Living Faith, we organise a variety of occasions for students to showcase their talents and celebrate their musical progress. Throughout the year, students perform at various concerts, including the school's Performing Arts Showcase, Coffee & Concert mornings, Grandparents & Special Friends Day, Piano Recital, lunchtime pop-up concerts, pre-entertainment for the School Musical and performances at the Pine Rivers Show by our senior groups.

Ensuring consistent learning is a priority for us, and we provide quality relief tutors in the event that our regular tutor is absent, ensuring uninterrupted progress and growth for all students.

Furthermore, we are committed to providing a well-rounded experience for our students. As part of this commitment, we have organised special guest educators, such as Prof. Rob McWilliams, to work directly with the students. These educators offer students unique perspectives and expertise, enriching their learning journey.
