The Instrumental Music Program successfully launched at Mt Maria College Petrie in Term 2, 2024!

Majenta Music partnered with Mt Maria College Petrie to introduce a comprehensive Instrumental Music Program. This initiative is designed to expand the performing arts and cultural offerings of the College through engaging performances and events.

​

Students at Mt Maria College Petrie will have the valuable opportunity to learn musical instruments through either private or group lessons, taught by the specialised tutors from Majenta Music. Under the mentorship and guidance of our team, private lesson students also have the opportunity to participate in AMEB Examinations.

Through our valued partnership, students at Mt Maria College Petrie have the valuable opportunity to explore musical instruments through either private or group lessons, taught by the specialised tutors from Majenta Music. We offer a wide range of instruments to explore, including woodwind, brass, percussion/drums and guitar. With the guidance of our dedicated team, private lesson students also have the opportunity to participate in AMEB Examinations.

In addition to private and group lessons, students learning band/orchestral instruments at Mt Maria College Petrie participate in large ensemble rehearsals. These ensemble experiences foster teamwork, communication, and musical expression, contributing to their holistic musical education. These ensembles are proudly funded and supported by Mt Maria College Petrie’s Parent Engagement Advisory Group (PEAG) .

 

Together with Mt Maria College Petrie, we will organise a variety of performance opportunities for students to showcase their talents and celebrate their musical progress. 

 

Ensuring consistent learning is a priority for us, and we aim to provide quality relief tutors in the event that our regular tutor is absent, ensuring uninterrupted progress and growth for all students.
